edit...You asked if it was worth it. I hardly ever take it off.
I'm glad you like a product I recommended. Thanks for letting me know; I appreciate that. Having experienced Tom's great service, I regularly hammer my CAC-9 and never give it a thought. It's made to be used and I run it hard.

I have a friend who's considering buying his first can so we took my CAC-9 out last weekend. 500 rounds of 9mm, fifty rounds at a time with his Lanchester mags and Sten, and at least that many rounds of .22LR with his Norrell 10/22 and Black Dog fifty round drums. He's hardly a newbie with full autos, but shooting suppressed made him giggle like a little school girl. It's a work horse of a can that does an excellent job with .22 rimfire due to it's volume and ability to completely disassemble for cleaning.

Vegas, Yes, I'm very pleased. I also run it on a Ruger SR-25 (10-22) and we have the same results. A great, but heavy, 22 can.

The new one averages 126 DB on the B&T TP-9. It is a pretty big monocore can though, 2" X 12" at 23oz in weight.

Check here for video on the SG:

From my measurements, the lage with the SG and the lage collapsible stock should come out to about ~27.5" vs. 26.4" on an MP-5SD3 (according to Wikipedia, so take that with a grain of salt). It'll be interesting to see how unwieldy it actually is, it is a big can no doubt. I wouldn't have minded a 9" or so can either. I'll post some pics on an upper later today hopefully.
