I have a friend who's considering buying his first can so we took my CAC-9 out last weekend. 500 rounds of 9mm, fifty rounds at a time with his Lanchester mags and Sten, and at least that many rounds of .22LR with his Norrell 10/22 and Black Dog fifty round drums. He's hardly a newbie with full autos, but shooting suppressed made him giggle like a little school girl. It's a work horse of a can that does an excellent job with .22 rimfire due to it's volume and ability to completely disassemble for cleaning. |

The new one averages 126 DB on the B&T TP-9. It is a pretty big monocore can though, 2" X 12" at 23oz in weight. Check here for video on the SG: http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55104 |

From my measurements, the lage with the SG and the lage collapsible stock should come out to about ~27.5" vs. 26.4" on an MP-5SD3 (according to Wikipedia, so take that with a grain of salt). It'll be interesting to see how unwieldy it actually is, it is a big can no doubt. I wouldn't have minded a 9" or so can either. I'll post some pics on an upper later today hopefully. |
